Summary: I don’t have great things to say about this hotel unfortunately. I booked an executive pet freindly room for the night at a cost of $230. For the standard of room the owners should not be charging this price. The hotel needs a massive makeover to justify these rates. The room was clean but very old and the bathroom was just awful. I can see that the owners are trying to present the place as best they can. The linen was clean and fresh and the rolled up towels on the bed were a nice touch. I stayed in this hotel when I was a kid and have always loved the windmill driving through Coffs Harbour. We also would stay at the Star Motel next door. It’s a great location on your way through Coffs and it was quiet even though you are on the main road. With a bit of vision and money of course this place could be great again. I would really love to see that one day!
