Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was excellent and own parking was a huge bonus, as we didn’t have to move the car at all after arriving. We loved the welcome pack left for us with snacks and wine. The stairs were very steep but made the trips upstairs kind of fun. Not sure I could live that way permanently though! Everywhere was decorated very well, loved the wallpaper in the bathrooms and the bath was gorgeous. We were lucky that we were allowed to check in early and communication with the hosts during our stay was first class. We’d recommend this property to others.

Negative: The only things that were not spot on was the leak for the bathroom toilet which caused a small puddle ( however we told the host it wasn’t really affecting our stay and they said they’d get a plumber in to sort it). The toilet seat in the cloak room was not attached properly, so felt rather unstable. There were about 4 or 5 sharp bumps under the hall and stairs carpet that we think could have been from the gripper rods. Some body wash available in the bathroom would have been an added bonus but not essential.

Summary: A really enjoyable stay with everything we needed on hand.
