Summary: I can’t say enough good things about this home and the owners/manager. The communication with Ona, the owner, was smooth from the start. We were trying to figure out our travel plans and she was very patient and flexible with us, giving us all sorts of helpful tips along the way. When we finally got to the house after a long travel day, we were so relieved to find that it was a beautiful, very large home in such an ideal location. The kids ran around, selecting their rooms and checking out the Wi-Fi and I was so relieved that my VRBO choice turned out to be amazing. My four-year-old wandered the grounds all day every day, finding little shells and crabs and birds and coconuts galore! My husband and I were so grateful for the peaceful vibe of the island and the small community where the home is located. We had access to basically our own private beach. Even during a busy summer month, there were very few tourist from what we saw. I like to run and really enjoyed the 2 1/2 miles stretch of beach that I could run back-and-forth on. Even in the pouring rain, it was so enjoyable. The locals are super kind and the island had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. Solomon’s grocery store made it easy to feed our family of 6 but there are also a few great restaurants walking distance from the house. We loved Banana Bay and the Sand Bar and we frequented the Lucaya Marketplace to get souvenirs. Overall, we highly recommend this home! We’ll be back!
