Positive: We needed a place to stay for one night near Port of Spain and we stumbled upon Trésor Caché TT on Booking.com. It ended up being the best decision we made. As soon as we booked, the host--Aku--reached out to us to get more information about our trip and offer any additional assistance. He offered to both pick us up and drop us to the airport for our middle-of-the-night flights and he showed us around Maracas Beach and Claxton Bay. Aku was the best part of staying here -- he is resourceful and made sure we had everything we needed. He steered us clear of tourist traps and helped us avoid any exaggerated pricing. We definitely felt that we were in good hands. As for the actual accommodation, the apartment was lovely! It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a kitchen and is on the top floor. The pool is beautiful; we wish we'd had more time to use it. The apartment had all the necessities, and even if it didn't, I am confident Aku would have helped us get whatever we needed. If we ever go back to Trinidad, we will definitely stay here again.
