3 Bedroom House in Montalva, Ensenada
The beach house is in southwest Puerto Rico. Playa Santa is a fishing village with beautiful calm Caribbean beaches. The house is on the "Hidden Beach", a wonderful swimming and snorkeling cove. We bought the house in 2007 for a swimming and painting retreat. Our part of the town is quiet, the main village has a few restaurants and a large beach. There is a fenced garden with a private 50 ft private walkway to a magical beach cove. The UNESCO Bosque Seco de Guánica offers incredible hiking.
The space
The main floor is one large room with kitchen, dining, living/office space and a full bath. The 2nd floor has 3 queen bedrooms and full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have open air balconies for relaxing, sunning on exercise. The third floor is an open air art studio. The 4th story is an o;en air "Captains Nook"with panoramic views of the Caribbean. There is a fenced garden with a private 50 ft private walkway to a magical beach cove for swimming and snorkeling.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property except the 4th small bedroom that is locked.
There are 3 sets of stairs in the house as this is a 4 story property. The floors are terrazzo and very slippery if you get them wet - so be careful. This rental is not good for older people or little loved ones who can slip, fall easily or has trouble negotiating stairs. We have never had and accidents and don't want you to be the first! We prefer children to be over 6 to stay at the property.

Many day trips to take from our location1 La Paragura for scuba diving on the famous"Wall" (scuba is also available in Playa Santa), Bosque Seco de Guánica an Unesco dry forest with fabulous hiking, Faro Lighthouse, Cavernas del Río Camuy (incredible caves), Arecibo Telescope Center are among many other points of interest
