Summary: We enjoyed all of the amenities and the space for our active crew. Enjoyed the hot tub, great shower pressure, fire pit, yard space for games and great mattresses. Location was perfect for last minute runs to grocery stores and beach permit provided quick and easy access to the sandy beach! We had a fantastic week!! Our complaints were reported to owners regarding some upkeep issues that seemed to be neglected by cleaning company. Owners showed up in person to address issues of concern. We appreciated the efforts put forth. Grill needs to be replaced due to rust, indoor grill was not clean/grease build up was undeniable and beyond “well-seasoned”, crumbs in refrigerators every shelf and drawers, kitchen towels used/ dirty and in drawers for our use with crumbs in drawers, various pots and pans had to be rewashed to use. Owner later brought this renter a brush and grill cleaner to do the cleaning. We did not use the grill. This was disappointing given our already paid included cleaning service fee. The day we were leaving the indoor fireplace seemed to be self-igniting (we did not touch it) and there was a strong smell of gas. Called and emailed owners before our departure with no response. Would we stay there again? Probably not. Would we recommend to others, yes! In hopes that all these things are taken care of for the future. It is a beautiful property and it has a lot to offer. Our expectations were a little let down.
