Summary: Mariposa is the best kept secret in Placencia - my experience was excellent, end to end. It’s a beautiful beach front property with amazingly friendly staff (and central A/C!) that made our stay extremely enjoyable and memorable. We found it to be a great choice over some of the nicer, comparable options like Turtle Inn, since Mariposa has more of a boutique vibe, and we felt offered a better value overall. I plan to return again next year and will definitely book here again. Dave Swanson
