Summary: We rented this boat incl a skipper for 3 days and sailed around Antigua. Beautiful sailing area. To do both, boat plus skipper, is not a bad deal, as you have the boat to yourself and your own skipper. We would not recommend renting the boat as ‘accommodation only’. The boat is rather dated, doesn’t have a holding tank, and kitchen facilities are limited. For the same amount, you can also get very nice hotels or villa rooms on the island. The skipper knows the area well, and is very knowledgeable about the reefs, shallow places etc. The boat is easy to sail and handle. The skipper was less good in management of the trip - we had to do a governmental boat check in the middle of a Sunday (!), he ran out of cooking gas and took half a day to replace the gas tank, resulting in less sailing and leasure time. All in all we had a very nice trip but would carefully consider whether we would rent this boat again.
