The Palms Bismarck is a private property, located in a suburban neighbourhood, 25 minutes away from the Grantley Adams International Airport. It’s central location places the property a few minutes away from the major shopping areas on the island: 15 minutes from Bridgetown (the capital), 10 minutes from Holetown and 6 minutes from Warrens. Warrens, the closest hub to the property, has become a ‘mini-capital’ on the island. In this area, guests can find several banks, the island’s largest supermarket, various shops and several restaurants. It is also ideally situated for many of the major tourist attractions: a 20-minute drive to Harrison’s Cave, a 20-miute drive to the Barbados Museum or a 9-minute drive to Atlantis Submarines. Cricket enthusiasts can enjoy a game at the 3W cricket field at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus 5 minutes away or at Kensington Oval 9 minutes away. The Palms Bismarck is a short 6-minute drive from the west coast that is peppered with many beaches, all of which are open to the public.If so inclined, guests can feel free to take any of the 3 bus routes that operate 5 minutes away from the property, to take in the island as locals do. The property also boasts lush gardens that are littered with many flowering plants and many palm trees, for which the property is named. This ground floor apartment is a full one-bedroom apartment and accommodates two adults. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery, dishes, pots and cooking utensils, as well as a kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There is a refrigerator, a ceramic-top stove and a microwave. The counter top is acrylic which lends for good hygiene. The combined living/dining space is well ventilated with three windows, a ceiling fan and is outfitted with a chaise lounge and flat screen TV (with netflix). The table lamp rests on an antique table made form mahogany wood which is a wood peculiar to the caribbean. The dining area has built in booth-style seating two chairs. The bedroom is air-conditioned with a double bed, two side tables, each with its own lamp. Two closets and full-length mirrors are provided in the bedroom. There is also a ceiling fan. The spacious en suite bathroom is beautifully decorated with a marble top double vanity and two mirrors above the sinks. The two lights situated above have outlets for shaving and drying your hair It also contains a washing machine. There is also seating in the bathroom if required. Bed linens and towels will also be provided. Pictures depicting local culture and sceneries are seen throughout the apartment. Free Wi-Fi is provided. There is a small patio where there is seating and should you prefer the outside then there is also seating under the mango tree.
