A stunning one bedroom cottage nestling in a beautiful tropical garden by the sea. The cottage reflects the heritage of the family that have owned the land it sits upon since the 1950's. The cottage is only a few years old but the mahogany flooring, cedar shingle roof and original family art that adorn the walls give a unique and unmatched sense of the timeless Caribbean.
Affectionately known as Bob's Cottage, it has all modern facilities seamlessly encapsulated in the feeling of a bygone era.
Air conditioning, 100% Cotton linen and towels, WiFi, walk in wet room, and a modern kitchen with German appliances. Outside the gardens provide privacy and an intimate escape to relax in the shade or dip into the private plunge pool. Humming birds may be nesting and fireflies illuminating the night sky. You may even have a visit from the owners dog, Ella, a local 'Pot Hound' whose nature is as relaxed as your environment .
Located at Westerhall Point on the south coast. This is without doubt the premier residential peninsula on the island. The ethos of 'The Point' is security, beautiful landscaping uninterrupted by fences and with accessible open areas and five local beaches within the privacy of 'The Point'.
St George's and the airport are approximately 20 minutes drive and though most of the hotels and restaurants are located in the South West of the island, exploring the North should not be missed.
The owners keep a yacht in the bay and accessibility to all of Grenada's haul out yards make this perfect for those with their own boat.
A car is an absolute must when staying at Bobs Cottage and the owners will be happy to recommend car hire.
Bobs Cottage is within the garden of Chemin House and the owners are on hand to help with all aspects of your time in Grenada, recommending bars , beaches and restaurants, walks and activities which only local knowledge can provide.
Naturally a cold bottle of bubbles will await you and some basics will be in the kitchen. The local cell phone provided will make life easier and those little extras like beach towels , a cooler and ground throw make a trip to the beach that much more enjoyable.
The Cottage perfectly reflects the owners own lives, providing a wonderful mix of comfort in a natural environment, whilst enjoying a Caribbean way of life. Bob's Cottage is not a holiday rental but a holiday home.
