Casa Barrilito was designed by the award winning architecture firm, Big Prototype based in Brooklyn, NY. The house was thoughtfully situated on the property to take in the Northeast trade winds, accessing a constant cool breeze to keep the house at a comfortable climate.
This family friendly home can accommodate large groups of friends or families with ease. There's plenty of space for everyone to spread out on the large covered patios while taking in the sweeping ocean views of the Aguadilla Bay and the Caribbean Ocean. Watch the lights twinkle on the ocean from across the bay in the evening while the stars shine brightly.
Spend all day in the saltwater pool while gazing down towards the ocean. Play w/ the kids on the oversized steps or enjoy a drink and conversation while immersed in the pool on the built-in bar stools.
In the winter months catch the humpback whales jumping for joy as they enjoy their winter holiday in the Caribbean warm waters, after a long journey from the Northeast. There are loads of outdoor pool and patio seating as well as chaise lounge chairs.
The kitchen has been carefully considered to accommodate any aspiring chef with a jumbo size island that invites everyone to gather around while dinner is being prepared. Each of the five bedrooms has it's own a/c unit for personal climate control, luxury bedding, full size bathrooms and more.
The bunk room has a large bunk bed with two single beds on the floor and a queen size bed up top.
The bedrooms comfortably sleep 10 people in the beds and another 2 on the queen size pull out sofa bed.
The house comes equipped with beach chairs, snorkel equipment, pool floats, coolers, etc. Bed linens, beach and bath towels provided. Cable, wifi, blue tooth speakers, fully stocked kitchen, games and laundry facilities.
We also provide a pack n play, high chair, baby gate, floaties for the pool and kids toys for all ages.
Sandy Beach is just down the road, less than a mile away where one can sunbath, swim, surf or paddle board. Sandy Beach is one of Rincon's premiere beaches that stretches for miles. Other popular beaches are Maria’s, Domes and Steps Beach. Enjoy all that Rincon has to offer such as surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving, fishing charters, sailing, horse back riding, massage, yoga, tennis and golf.
The home is only 30 minutes from the Aguadilla airport (BQN) and 2 hours from the San Juan airport (SJU) with daily flights into Aguadilla on Jetblue, United and Spirit. All the major airlines make daily flights into San Juan.
