Whispering Palms is a self-contained 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage, located on a privately owned beachfront property on the Jolly Harbour south beach.
30 steps away from your private patio and through the tropical garden will take you to the 3 km long white-sand beach.
A/C is not needed, as the high level of insulation keeps Whispering Palms beach cottage cool year-round and the open-plan concept with 3 sets of sliding doors allows for excellent airflow. The east-facing bedroom also has sliding doors and enjoys beautiful views of the garden. The powerful, yet silent "HUNTER" ceiling fan provides additional cooling comfort.
The bedroom can be set up with a queen size bed (2 meters long) or 2 singles.
You have a well-equipped kitchen, without dishwasher, an indoor as well as an outdoor dining area, a comfortable living room with Cable TV / DVD-Player and an additional front porch with sitting area.
Please note that smoking is not permitted inside.
The property does not offer the usage of a wash machine, however there is a washing center near the entrance to the boat yard.
Please take note that from mid-October to mid-May the owners will be occupying the main house. However, your 100 % privacy, tranquility and beach access is guaranteed. A garden shower is available.
The friendly resident cat is on the property all year-round and will be fed by the property manager, when the owners are off island during the summer months.
Last but not least the beach orientation allows you from November until the end of March to enjoy beautiful Antigua sunsets, why not with a refreshing cocktail?
