The space:
Luna is cozy, private, quiet and beautiful. It has a full size mural of the Old San Juan door, painted by a local artist which has become an instagram staple. The handmade Italian woodwork can be appreciated in every detail. There is a charming indoor/outdoor kitchen with a gas stove and a sink. Wake up to the sound of the birds and sip your coffee out on the private porch. There's also a full 3-piece bathroom and an outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach!
Other things to Note:
- There is a water rationing in place for the NW of Puerto Rico. il Sognatore has 1200 gallon cistern when city water is turned off. There is plenty of hot water and water pressure even on the off days, but we ask guest to be mindful of their water usage during the off times.
- The host offers private surf lessons, snorkeling tours, and spearfishing.
Early Check-ins:
Early morning flight arriving at BQN airport at 1 AM to 3 AM are welcome to check in at anytime but remember to book the night before your arrival to secure your sleep hours and prevent other guests from booking the early morning hours. If you don't check in is at 2pm.
The neighborhood:
iL Sognatore is located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a dead end street. It is encircled by concrete fencing and tall trees, which provides shade, privacy, safety and quiet. It is a calm neighborhood where the only drivers are those that live around.
Getting around:
Situated about 10 minutes from the Best Beaches in Aguadilla and Isabela, the Punta Borinquen Golf Course, Punta Borinquen's surf reserve and the Aguadilla Airport (BQN). You can walk to the Coffee Spot from the property and there is also a gas station and the Hewlett Packard nearby. It is very close to restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets but a car is needed since there is no public transportation. The neighborhood has a track for walking or running, if you want to exercise.
